  • Anyone Used 'Rust Destroyer'?

Has anyone used the 'Rust Destroyer' (http://www.rust007.com/destroyerhome.htm) product? Found out about it from a post on the HAMB.

Good or bad experiences? Any long term use reports?

A friend and I went to a local private shop two weeks ago. The guy that owns this MAGNIFICENT play shop is a nut about flathead Ford V8s - that being ALL he plays with. He showed us some engine blocks he'd treated with a stuff called Evap-o-Rust. I gotta say - I've NEVER seen the cooling passages of a block that looked nicer. Never!
He'd constructed a box reservoir to hold the liquid and used a small 110V motor to turn the V8s dual water pumps. Using hoses to connect the inflow and returns of a block with heads installed - he'd leave the thing to run for a week or more. As long as it took to make the water jackets as clean as a whistle. Pretty danged cool! And the stuff is NOT toxic like so many such things are.
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.
