  • Do you know what these Studebaker tools are used for?

    I always thought these tools were interesting. They are Kent Moore tools. I have personally used these tools and they worked well. You actually use these two tools as a pair when doing the job.

    I am thinking valve spring compressor and valve retainer to use while changing seals on OHV engines.

      You are correct, the first one holds the valve up and the second one compresses the valve spring. It is slow to use as you have to bolt it down with one of the head bolts.

        I have trouble with a knife and fork, so will let some else work with the valves.
