Oh man, was I disappointed today. When I got home the latest Turning Wheels was there. Remembering this post, I tore that thing open and looked and looked for the article on the '64 F-body cars. Nowhere to be seen
    When can we expect it?

Without sending this thread too far astray, is George going to make mention of the January 1964 'Commander Special' model?

It will be awhile, Paul. George and I just yesterday finished going back and forth on a couple items we were "discussing," and he now has the text done.

He is accumulating photographs and has yet to submit the entire package to Art and Ann, so it's on the way...but certainly not for a couple months, yet. BP

Not that I know of, Craig: The article deals exclusively with South-Bend-produced, V8-powered, F-body cars for the 1964 model year.

George discusses the body numbering change when production was transferred to Hamilton so people won't be confused if they own a 1964 Hamilton F-body car, but that's about it. Nor are six-cylinder cars discussed from either facility, except to say they were built both places, of course.

(There were 1,179 V8, F-body cars built in South Bend, so that's a lot of cars for analysis all by themselves.) BP

No worries, Bob. But it could put an end to someone who could be wondering why their F4 has an interior from a J8, even though the body tag will still read 'F4'. http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...ytona+trim+kit
