  • I was hoping there'd be a Stude at SOME point in Mad Men. Just spotted one:

Edit: I always have trouble attaching photos here, this one's super small for some reason. Well, there's a maroon 1950-ish Champion in the back of the shot there. Season one, episode 13.

Language warning! The first one is pieced together, some of poor quality. Not sure if a complete version is out there. Second video says this interview was in Munich.

                  • There's a cool Lark in the 1986 film Out Of Bounds. Kind of a Pepto Bismol pink, and with a WILD zebra print interior! Driven by the "punky weird girl" character. It does suit her - even in how much it smokes!

                    • Looks like a GT Hawk peeking out of this parking lot in The Hustler - though I could be wrong. Movie is from 1961, so would have to be an earlier '62 model.

                          • Is there a promotional video for SDC? I've never heard of one. We need an SDC channel on Youtube and we need it NOW.

Anyone here buy it? Just curious.

Also, I've been told a 58 Studebaker sedan is in an episode of the second season of Masters of Sex.
We've been watching Masters of Sex on Netflix and this show is LOADED with Studebakers. (and boobs). Nearly every street seen has one.
Got really excited in last nights episode to see the best Studebaker of all time ... a 52 hardtop ... cruise through the scene.

Dave, I honestly think it is a 1957 or 1958 Golden Hawk! Note the large fiberglass hood overlay. 'Can't see the grill sides well enough to see if the auxillary grille inserts are present for a '58, though. BP
