      Don't try stopping halfway up that steep ramp! Floor it, and get it onto the plane! (ha)

      Seriously, that whole ramp setup looks pretty shaky to me.

        I've seen similar photos of GIs loading Jeeps in C-46s before flying the "Hump" in WWII.

            There does not look like enough room to fit that car in that plane crosswise. Think it might be staged?

              I have seen a number of post war photos where cars, were side-loaded into planes like this. It think they had to do a bit of jacking around to get them around the corner but they got them in. Of course as today, it must have been expensive to have done back then and it was mostly racing cars and cars for important people that were flown.
