Studebaker sportsmanship award?

This is a new one to me. I picked this up at an auction tonight and the discription said it was an award from one of Studebaker's factory sports teams; most likely bowling. One the back it says "Best Sportsmanship '37 SNBT". I've never seen one before, is it real?
