I didn't make it. I had wanted to but ended up having to do some other stuff.

I did, however, spend a couple hours tonight with a new Stude owner from Atlanta. He drove down in his '51 Commander Starlight to buy some parts and talk cars.

The funny part of it is, Tex and his son walked up, Tex handed his camera to his son and said "If we can get Jerry out of his chair, we'll stand in front of his Stude for a pic". I asked him if that was the best impression of Dave Lester he could do. he just had a questioning look on his face.

I just gotta say that I LOVE those high profile rear tires, it makes the fifty-fiver look seriously fast!

I was gonna get some big ones. But I had to settle on these 265-75 R 15's.
They do fill the fender wells up quite nicely.
Since this pic was made, I have raised the front one inch.
