  • Look at what the dog drug home on Drive Your Studebaker Day...

The yard now includes this Land Cruiser. A farmer up the road had this thing sitting in his tree line and sold it to me for $125, below scrap value! I plan on parting this one out. I bought it mainly for the Commander engine and suspension parts; most of which will go to the '53 Commander Prototype project. No differential and the doors, hood, front fenders, floor, and seats are pretty much shot but it seems to have at least more than $125 in usable parts.
Maybe if I combine all the parts I have from this car and the '53 I can take two really bad cars and make one half rusted car out of them...

I remember when I was under 21, {the 70"s} and I was pulling Studebakers home as fast as I could get the$100 or so, to fill my parents barn yard ! Those were the good old days indeed! I wish I still had them ALL !

Is it just me, or is that front bumper not stock?

Looks right to me. I think it has been "opened up" on the backside a little by that hole for the bumper jack. Plus, the near end being the closest thing to the camera, it got a little enlarged and distorted.

Come to think of it, this must be a popular goal,
