Has anyone seen or know this 1963 Lark?

Looks to be a very nice vehicle, although I have been looking for a nice standard Lark, the R2 and four speed is very intriguing.
The asking price is a bit out of my range. Can someone help me understand the engine code listed, does that mean it came in that car and is original?
    Thanks for the help

Careful - That engine may have come out of a Hawk, ser #21886.

I think that may be the Custom 2 door sedan model which for 1963 became one of the higher grade models where the Custom was more of an entry level model the years before. I too would question if that is an original power train.

That car is Barry Holley's of Holley Automotive in Battle Creek MI, Troy.

It is written up extensively on Page 33 of the January 2010 Turning Wheels and on Page 7 of the January 2011 Turning Wheels. Everything you want to know about it, including provenance and how it was built, can be accessed there. Barry is quite open about the car's "build," and a super honest / super nice guy.

Those are in reports of the two years (2009 and 2010) Barry brought the car to The Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Race. BP

I thought the Blue interior looked cool! Very different than what I have seen.
