Monday will be a travel day.

I hope I wont be driving up in a Stude. Frosty is on the market and I have a couple of interested parties.
My other Stude projects are too far from being finished to even think about driving one of them.

You better call the motel and confirm. I booked online for Rapid City, SD. When we got there they didn't know who we were.

The funny thing is we stayed in the Comfort Suites on Rt. 31 on the south side of South Bend during the May meet. For those two nights it was 90 dollars a night, and we thought it was a bargain .

I am guessing that you do not stay in motels/hotels very often. See, it is always a learning experience here on the Forum <G>.

When I went to Springfield this past summer I had the option of paying for a hotel room or an Army tent. At the last minute I lucked out and got to sleep in a camper, but would have been fine with the Army tent.

Funny. When I travel with Momma, I get a nice room for her comfort, even though she's game for "camping" in the conversion van if I suggest it. When I roll solo I always sleep in the van and use truck stop showers.

Not sure if she's going to SB but I've got a room at the Host just in case.
