  • Bare head weight

For inquiring minds, a pair of bare V-8 heads without guides weigh 105 pounds.
The valve springs, guides, keepers and spring shields add about another 10 pounds to a pair of heads.
My Fedex Ground guy does not like me at the moment.

The Stude heads are 50.5# each. FWIW, the Packard V8 heads are 64# each. My FedEx Ground guy really likes carrying them up the flight of stairs to my front porch.

That translates into 15 dollars for a pair.
