This is a long shot but I am looking for the person that I talked to at the Goodguys show in Scottsdale, AZ. back in November, where we were showing our 52 Starliner. The person asked if I might have the metal pedal cover that attaches in the left front wheel well. I told him I thought I had an extra one and would dig it out and send it to him for shipping cost in April, upon our return to Nebraska. He gave me $10.00 for shipping, which I put in a marked envelope along with his addres. Upon return to Nebraska I cannot find the envelope anywhere. It is not at our residence in AZ. I feel really bad about this and don't know what else I can do. All I remember is I think the man said he lives somewhere in Kansas and owns a 52 Studebaker car. I may have given him my business card and he could eventually contact me if I did.

No Chris, but that will be my next move this week. I am not convinced the individual is even an SDC member however, but I will try to call all '52 owners in Kansas listed.

As of today the mystery is solved. I found my notes and the $10.00 under the seat in my truck, go figure. I had put it under the rear seat cushion in the back of my crew cab in an envelope along with some other notes. Turns out the person that will now get his 1952 brake/clutch pedal shield was not in the Roster, but another person with the same last name, but different address is, could be brothers. Both live in Pratt, Kansas.Frank van Doorn
