6x2 log manifold

I an going to sell this 6x2 log manifold it is build for the Cadalic I think as it is a little longer than the Studebaker and has larger ports, it could be altered to fit Studebaker with some work, if any one is interested let me know.ect. I have no carbs for it but my self was planning on using the original late model Stude ones, there is room to re drill the bolt holes, it will cost some one some buck before this ever get on an engine but once it is fitted and working you have one of a kind. $250.00 plus shipping.

Sure reminds Me of the days when gas was cheap! Wonder why the exhaust crossover ports aren't completely blocked off? Top end use in warm climates ONLY with this bad boy!

I believe those tubes are equalizers between the logs. No exhaust heat on a manifold like this.
I wonder how that thing would run with only a functioning carb in the center of each bank?

52-fan--- Yes, I get the equalizers, but without that exhaust port completely blocked off, I think those center carbs would roast. All-in-all, this isn't streetable.

I have 2 of these in the Stude version, but 1 is without carbs. The Drag Star manifolds were for just that, drag racing, so gas usage wasn't the big cost when racing then, or now.
The one with all 12 bbl's functioning is quite intimidating to people looking at a Stude engine with it. It was street driven with block off plates for awhile, running just on 2 center carbs.
It was running in a convertible 53, with LaSal transmission the first time I'd seen it and when the owner made it more streetable with single 4bbl, I wanted to know were the manifold went (so it went home with me).

This Drag Star was made for Studes.
12 barrels to shoot down the track (Six 2bbls).






The one on left below is a Edmonds, with more common two 2 bbls.
The one on right is a Six Pack Smolgen.
Most people know what the red snail, whirley thing in the middle is.



I'm sure someone will enjoy setting up Bobs manifold.
