Old RCA/Studebaker promo 45

Thanks to fellow SDCer and forumite Steve Porter ("stephenj") for this odd little gem...a co-promo for the RCA Living Stereo unit and the '59 Lark. The record itself is a four-song sampler of Broadway singer Pat Suzuki. Wonder if Miss Suzuki's career lasted long enough for her to have promoted the cars that bear her own name!

Not only did I see that record somewhere but the RCA was with it. Do we know the Studebaker connection??

Somewhere around I have a nearly full box of these just as they were sent to the dealers. I have run them on ebay but they seldom bring even $5.00.

The RCA Stereos were the first High Fidelity Streophonic Record player they produced. Ha, Sterophonic? When was it you last heard that one?

The Studebaker Dealers gave the top 1960 Salesman the Stereos from the Zone Office, my Dad won one and I have it, also the RCA Demo record that has a guy walk across the room, and you can hear his footsteps fade from left to right, there is a remote speaker box that goes with the unit for the Right Channel.

There is a provision for an AM/FM Radio in the Record player cabinet as an option, our's has record storage there.
