The fit of the hood and grill look pretty good also.

WOW. If I ever had a C body, I think I'd paint it like that.

        That's simply the first-series 1955 two-tone, Chris.

Good luck finding all the little moldings around the bottom and sides of the backlite if you want to have that effect! <GGG> BP

Doesn't this one also belong to someone in your chapter as well?

I know where a couple sets of those wrap-around pieces are.

Heck, I've even got the prototype pieces of those.. Came off of a '55 coupe in the Proving Ground Graveyard.

Good memory, Craig, because it did belong to Sam Roberts of Warren IN many years ago. Sam sold the car maybe 7 or 8 years ago and exited the Studebaker hobby entirely.

We still have yet another 1955 Commander DeLuxe Coupe (not Regal; no butterknives) in the first-series two-tone in our chapter; that of Dale and Barb McPhearson. If you remember, it is turquoise with a black roof. And before anyone asks: No, I have not touched bases with Dale for several weeks and must get to that pronto. BP
