  • East Coast Timing Association Moving

This coming weekend will be the last time the ECTA will be at the Laurinburg-Maxton Airport. Starting next year the ECTA will call Wilmington, Ohio home. The schedule will as follows:

Unfortunately this move means that I will not be able to attend very often, but it does mean that you guys in the mid-west should be able to bring down those hot rod Studebakers and run them. At least you will be able to see the ECTA events.

April 28-29 Hot Rod Magazine Street Car Shootout
    June 2-3
    July 7-8
    Sept 28-29

There have been a few Studebakers running at Maxton and I hope that tradition continues with an increased number running at each event.

Somebody here might want to post this on the Racing Studebaker Forum. I still cannot log on over there for some reason.

We're probably going to run the Salt-2-Salt car at Wilmington in 2012. Which event(s) YTBD.
