    Well, in this thread~

    http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...MEET-IN-sO-cAL

    I posted this link~

    http://www.studebakersandiego.com/20...et/default.htm

The first day of the show isn't a good time to try and reach those putting it on, so I'll shoot from the hip and say that tonight around 7:30 they'll be having ice cream in the hospitality suite. One thing I know about those San Diego folks- they like their ice cream!!! This will happen long after their first tour is already over. I'd guess that the swap meet and show ought to get goin' no later then 9AM. I had heard that not to many had reserved space for the swap meet, so good luck there!!!

Enjoy the show- if I could'a found a way to be there- TRUST ME- I would'a went.
I miss San Diego like you wouldn't believe...

Thanks Dave, I did read thru that whole link. I did see the iccream deal at the hospitality suite at 7:30pm.
I was asking primarily as to when the swap meet starts.
Then I was asking if there was any particular time people were meeting up after arriving back from the private car collection. The car collection event is leaving at 12:30 give 30 mins to get there, 1pm, 2 hour {so it says} tour, that is 3pm. The ice cream social is at 7:30...I was asking is anything going on between? As in a particular time people were hanging out to look at cars etc...before the ice cream deal.
Still no time I see on your link for the swap meet?
I am not staying down there so I need to drive down an hour or so away, just looking at figuring when I need to leave.

The early bird usually gets the worm--
        I'd be there by 8AM if you're a bird.

I went by this afternoon. Did not go to the museum. There were 30 or so cars there. Did nto see any swap meet items. We will be back in the morning. A little hard to get all figured out for meet registration (it is near the hotel lobby). The show/swap is behind the convention center and the high rise hotel building. They have it all roped off, and you need your parking pass to get out, but looks like it will be fun tomorrow.

p.s. Will post pictures Sun night, I forgot my dang dongle to transfer the pictures.

Thanks for posting those~ and taking my hint above.
Looks to me like 'my club' had a good show.

Good lookin' Land Cruiser, yes. But the question is- is it a '53 or '54?
The only one I see has '53 grille bars, but '54 trim all down the side...

it does get BONUS points for the fog lamps being right were they belong~
in the middle- just as I plan to on MY '54 Commander when I get to her.

Nice group of cars. Looks like Mark got all but his very nice 64 Cruiser with a bucket seat interior. Great meeting you Mark & seeing so many familiar faces again.

The SD chapter seemed to do a nice job on the show. The DJ was fun. The cars gorgeous for the most part, and the ones that were not gorgeous had the potential to be with some effort...oh yeah and some cash.

Great to meet you Mark and your car was immaculant. Thanks for the photos.

Warren always great to see you and very nice to catch up.
