  • Barn Find 1952 Studebaker Pickup

We found this in a barn not too far from Springfield MO.. The people that own it is the third owner. It has been sitting in this barn since the early '80's. The night that we were there, what we could see of the truck, there is not any rust in the fenders or the doors. But the man had it locked up, so we could not see the floor boards in the truck. The tail gate is average, the passenger side rear fender is dented, but no rust. At sometime in its life, they had Earl Shiebe put a paint job on it. It is a 6 with a straight transmission with no overdrive. The only thing we could see missing off the truck is the hood ornament. Don't know how many miles is on it, because the doors were locked. Could not get them to put a price on it, yet, all they want is for me to make an offer. I do not make offers on vehicles. But if anyone else is interested in this truck, email me, and let me know what you want to know about it, so I can find out. The man that owns it, has cancer, and is not up to taking a lot of questions about the truck right now. Dusty phone number is 417-862-0316.

Better than average old truck. The straight 3-speed without overdrive is pretty unusual. I know they came that way but can't imagine why. It really matters to some whether the engine is the Champion or the Commander.

That's the Commander Six. Assuming it's a half ton, that would make this a 2R6.

The people that own the truck pictured decided they would take $1,500.00 for it. If you want more pictures, contact me, and we can get more, but it might take a few days. Dusty Thanks
