Wow, Anne: Sold in California, grown in Kansas, and packaged in Missouri; truly eccumenical.

'Hadn't seen it before; did you try popping/eating it? BP

NO, I have not tried it but I would like to have one of their signs for the garage.

Riverside MO, may need to make a trip over there.

Must be good, Rachel Ray had it on her show last year.

Sent them an email, hopefully they will take the time to come here and share a story
about how the label came to be.

I have seen and eaten some of this product. Had to have been over 6 or 7 years ago. It's popcorn when you get right down to it. Attractively packaged popcorn. We eat ActII brand most of the time - microwave and enjoy.

In the south, I have seen this offered in the shopping area of "Cracker Barrel" restaurants from Florida to the Carolinas.

I emailed the company several years ago and requested a couple of the signs... They were very prompt and sent me a couple (a little larger than on the corn). I did assure them that I was not going to resell the sign... and I think it would be a very crappy thing to do. We need to be polite, kind, and greatful to businessmen like that.

Lots of popcorn grown around here. Looks like I'll grab a few bushels for the winter. Oh yeah, the sign is cool.

These commentaries reminded me of a very nice gentleman who was a customer of mine in the early 60's. Orville Redenbacher had a Chester Hybrid seed corn business near Valparaiso, Indiana. Note that he was a Purdue graduate and was later granted an honorary doctorate by Purdue. That should bring a smile or a "cool beans" from BP!
