Gay's Garage
Yesterday I drove on up to Lowpoint,Bob Palma the locals say it is Lowpoint and NOT Lo
w Point, the road maps say Low Point, so the debate continues. Any way after Don Gay's services I drove up to snap a few pictures of
the old 51 in front of his shop. Not knowing what is going to happen to the shop now that Don has passed, and the fact that it is a 50
mile drive to Don's place I figured I had better do it now while the place still had its charm.

Thanks for posting. Over the years, I bought various parts from Don. I don't remember anything in particular, but recall the Lowpoint name and thought there must be a story behind that name. All my dealings were, I believe, from turning wheels ads and pre-internet for me.
Sorry to lose another familiar icon of our Studebaker experience. However, it is part of life itself and the rest of us keep on keeping on. May he rest in peace and I hope his legacy will be good memories. I also hope his place finds a good purpose. Looks like it has great potential.John Clary

One thing I have noticed is that each pic needs to be on it's own line.
Try to put a space (line) in between each pic.
You can do that in the edit mode...
