My 58 commander is in need of a fresh air hose. The one from the front of the core support to the rear. It looks like it is about 4 inches in diameter. I have looked through catalogs and found none. Do I need to buy some dryer vent hose?

No to dryer hose! Go to your leading parts supplier and tell him you want heater vent hose. It comes in all sizes up through 4".
