  • "Studebaker" for you bluegrass fans

Song is titled "Studebaker" and is some pretty good pickin'. It's a Chattanooga based bluegrass band Barefoot Nellie.

And, here's one titled "Studebaker 1" by Kenny Smith. This feller can play (and teach you how to play it, too (The first 3:09 is the song itself, the rest is lesson):

Wait...here's an even better one from Kenny Smith:

Maybe not bluegrass, but he's from Kentucky

I posted this one recently. The more I hear it, the fonder I get of it. Had the chorus stuck in my mind all morning!

Been reading up on 'ol Pete a little. Was a principal in The Renfro Valley Barn Dance. Wrote a book about it. Was Dolly Parton's road manager for awhile. Received the Stephen Foster Award. Was quite the comedian.

I bought Kenny Smith's CD on eBay just because of the C Cab truck. Talked with him a bit about Studebakers - He likes my truck. Great CD - well worth the money. You can find it on eBay frequently.
