3rd time is a charm!

As luck would have it, in this morning's mail, I got the revised
"bill of sale" for the '64 Daytona, from my seller. With the one
I got back from JDP, from the earlier sale, I took both to
the private MVD and I was finally told everything was in order.[]
I got my registration, my new Arizona title and since the price
was right, a 2 year tag.[8D]

I beginning to see that some DMV's are more of a pain then others. I have another buyer that is having trouble with a signed title that was not notarized 20 years ago. The PO is now in the ground and is unlikely to be able to help.

That will be a tough one JDP, cause AZ wouldn't budge
until we got both notarized bill of sales....the only
recourse would have been for me to pay $295 to get a
bonded title, through a surety co.which could have
taken up to 3 months to get....that might be your
client's only alternative or to get a "cheese ball"
one from another state (Alabama) I know more in the
last 4 weeks about Georgia and AZ DMV laws than I
really want to know...I could become a "SME"

I had problems getting my Cruiser registered in NC. Had to have a DMV officer come out to the house to "inspect" the car. Mainly checking that the VIN number matched the title. Had to wait a week for the officer to come out, although in the end it worked out okay. Just time consuming to jumb through hoops that you shouldn't have to jump through.
