  • What is it?

I'm putting a few things on eBay, but would like to know what they are first.

Some sort of lenses. Maybe not even Stude?

Packard handle, part number 466339. What model does it fit?

    Matt,

    No idea on the lenses!

The parts in the second picture look like '64 Cruiser roof 'sail panel' trim. Check the parts book, you should find them.

The last two pics look like one of the pieces of Avanti sparkplug wire shielding stainless.

Those lenses are actually inner reflectors for '65 Ambassador taillights. Not worth much by themselves, but the red outer part is worth over a hundred bucks undamaged![:0] They're (the red part) about as rare as '61 Lark lenses.
I concur with Paul on the other pieces. Don't know WHAT that handle fits!

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Looking at pics of those cars, I know I've seen that weird chrome housing that goes around the red lens. Gotta make a run to the shop...

66 Ambo lenses are ever rarer! And yes, that fancy, delicate chrome embellishment on the 65s and 66s are as fragile as the lenses themselves. I doubt anyone will ever repop these items.
Ask Dick S., when I come across these at a swap meet, it's akin to finding GOLD![]

Might this be it, StudeBob? I only found the one, and it's not cracked. The upper-most chrome 'bar' is slightly down, but I think it'll bend back.

That's it! Fit one of those clear lenses against the back. That thing's worth some dough. Those chrome ridges are pot metal so be careful about trying to bend it back! It would be perfectly happy to break on you. Then you've severly diminished it's value. Yup, '65 Ambassador.[^]

                            Cool deal!
I've been reading on some Rambler forums, and people there are complaining about paying $200.00 for a taillight lens...

                            Yay for me!
