  • Tiny little Lark part needed :)

My car has a Flightomatic, and I'm missing the lens that goes into the housing through which the lamp shines to illuminate the gear indicator on the column. You know, the little green plastic piece with the white circle around it that presses into the lamp cover.

Anyone got one of these? I checked the parts manual in preparation for a call to SI, but the lens, it seems, was not serviced separately from the metal shroud it's pressed into.

    Thanks in advance!

I think he is looks for the part that covers the light bulb behind the shift indicator. Usually it is the same color as the sterring column is held in place by two little screws and has a green lens with a white ring around it. I dont have an extra, but I know what you are looking for Clark.

I'm thinkin' that is NOT the part Clark is talking about...
          • it's not green
          • it doesn't light up

The part he's looking for is the piece with the lense in it. Two screws hold it down.
It's the piece you take off to change the bulb.

What color you need Clark? I'll take a look out back tomorrow...

Dave, this is what he needs.

the little green plastic piece with the white circle around it that presses into the lamp cover.

Not the cover, although it probably would be easier to replace the cover with a good green lens.

Clark, if you don't find one closer, I have one with a good lens for you.
