  • 64 R1 4spd. Daytona By the numbers

This is the car that was discussed here last week. I went to look at it last night and got the numbers.

    64V-9342

    JT J330

    64V. J8 828

The car is very solid with only a little rust in the front floors maybe a wee bit in the back floor. It's all there but needs everything a full resto. I think it is worth restoring but I just couldn't get into it for 6K it deserves a 30k plus resto and I just can't do it. Bordeuax red black interior black & white wheel.

Also it is a four wheel drum brake car if it where a disk brake car I believe it would be a full package car.

John: The car is on the 1964 JT-powered registry, and was shipped with the engine you cite. It could have been built with disc brakes and not have been a full-package car; several were. (You're right, a full-package car would have disc brakes, but a non-package car could have them as well.)

The car was built with 4-speed, bucket seats, padded visors, rear speaker, and TT. BP
