      I like it!
My question is, is this a grill (fire under food) or a BBQ pit (fire offset from food) or a clever hybrid?
Should I imagine steaks, burgers and dogs, or pork shoulders, ribs and brisket?

I like my NEBRASKA beef medium rare and NO sauces. Good meat well grilled doesn't need sauce. Great work Lazyman, keep us posted!

Okay, got the flames down, let it sit for a day or two, then flat clear the whole car. First time flame's, not bad for a amature, eh?

Interesting BBQ! Good job with the unusual use of a car. How will you move it around, on a dolly?

Moves around with a towbar, sets up as a trailer. Drop the 2 quick release pins, push the towbar under the car, unplug the pigtail for the lights, open up the car and waa-laa, now you rcooking with gasssssss!

To each their own. I like charcoal and oak.

I think you did a great job. A very original thought that was well executed. I do have to say that you must have a lot of time on your hands.

                  Thanks for the laugh.

This belongs under the hood "kitchen"! http://www.megabbq.com/2007/07/grill...ine-block.html (There was a thread on this before, but the photos are now gone. http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...ghlight=steaks ) They must be mass-producing these now as I have seen them for sale at a local swap meet last spring.

This car is shown in a previous thread by AKAchamptrucking. Is that your "dish" standing beside the car?
