In 92 I worked at a large body shop that was located around the corner on 9th st. I'd have to park on one of the freeway overpasses & walk in past Paxton, always looking thru the windows (Olympic blvd is on the left -the face of the building showing is facing 10th st) & seeing superchargers in various stages of assembly. I was still new to my rekindled addiction to Studebakers, but always knew of this building & thought of the past it possesses & R-3's ect. Anyone visiting the Santa Monica pier can take a quick detor a few blocks to the east & enjoy their own fantacy too.

There have been quite a few changes over the years, when I was there in 1964 to buy some R3 Headers, there was a dutch door type opening for a Service Window or some kind of service Window on the side street where part of that showroom is now, and of course the open Carport was a enclosed Shop with doors.
