Anyone wanting real gas while in and around Springfield should print off this sight. and keep it in your car so you can find real gas along the way..
And you could even get the stations for your whole trip.
if your lucky enough to have a GPS you can just put the addresses into your GPS.
Looks like one station is on Highway 65 just down the street from the host hotel.
Myself i'm on my 2nd fuel pump from using unleaded in my 64 Commander. I also developed some pin holes in my gas tank, doubt it is from the unleaded. Took the gas tank out of a parts car i had, sent it to a radiator shop and had it cleaned and new sealer put in. while there i had him install a new 3/8" fuel line coming out of the tank. going to add a 3/8 line clear to the 4 bbl carb.
My next question is does anyone know if the station in Joplin that sells real gas was wiped out by the tornado?
the address was 703 West 7th street in Joplin.
