  • Tom Elliott has passed away

It's all I can do to type this. I just found out that my very dear friend Tom Elliott has passed away. Sometime between 7:00 and 7:45 PM tonight. One person told me it was due to cardiac arrest.

Please keep the family and friends in your prayers. I'll post more info when I have it. I'm on my way to be with the family now.

    Matthew

I am so saddened to hear this. I had the privledge of meeting Tom at the SE zone meet.
Only met him there, but already considered him a friend. We had some great conversation.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Here's a shot we took at Tifton.

The family can be gratefull in the fact he had such a good freind as you Matt. And you can find some solice, in that your friendship and participation in the hobby, kept him diverted from his woes.

Sorry to hear this news Matthew, I know that you and Tom had formed a special bond. I only knew Tom through your eyes and your words here, but it seems to me he refused to let anything get in the way of his enjoying life and enjoying his Studebakers.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Matt I know that Tom added a great deal to your understanding and appreciation of life and its problems. You are both blessed to have known each other. I saw the joy your shared at the banquet at last years SDC International Meet in Glendale, AZ. God bless you and his family.

Matt, I just got in and saw this post. I would like you to convey my condolences to the family. Additionally, knowing the friendship you had with Tom, my thoughts are with you as well.

While many will express that Tom is finally at peace...I will agree. However, I don't think he's at rest. I think he is rejoicing in new life, new energy, and exploring heaven with more zeal than we can imagine.

                        You are in my prayers.
