  • Studebakers at GSTA car show

    Here in Minnesota the longest running car show event is a indoor car show put on by the Gopher State Timing Association.There were 2 Studebakers displayed.Loved the drag car.There was a 1939 Coupe Express displayed also.

    Couple more of the CE.Mopar slant 6 powered.
    Mine wont look quite like this one does.

      Thank for sharing. Like the slant 6 idea especially if one could plop a rare aluminum block one inbetween the frame rails. Wonder why some one would take a CE and convert it to a roadster pickup...seeing how the CE is so rare, and the factory roofline was so awesome. Perhaps the roof was modified courtsey of a tree or something like that. Windshield reminds me of a Freightliner's. Regardless, I 'll take either one of those cars. Junior.

        Good show. There were some nice cars there. That slant 6 had plenty of go-fast items on it.

            Maybe it didn't start life as a Coupe Express. Might be a sedan modified.

              Nope.
              L5-787 was on a display sign.If Mr.Quinn does not have that number in his registry it could be added.
