I was hoping someone might have a pic of the inside of a headlight ring, the top in particular, I'm wondering if the spare pair I have is missing something. I see no way to attach it. Presently it has dodge headlight rims, so i can't compare.

I don't have a picture, but there is supposed to be a small steel tab rivited to the inside of the rim at the top. It is common to find them missing. On a 53 to 55 the tab goes in a slot on the top of the headlight bucket. The 56 and later tabs are longer and go in a slot in the fender. The reproduction rims come with both tabs and screws to attach them.Dwight 54 Commander hardtop -
Aha, I've got 2 little nubs, I assume thats the broken rivets.

If some one bought some repros and used them on a Hawk, they might let you have the extras. I put some on my 57 awhile back but I don't have the foggyest idea where they are now. If I find them,I'll send them to you.Neil Thornton

the top/flat section is 1/2
and the tab that clips to fender is 5/16
