Did the '58 Golden Hawks offer different color choices than the '57 Golden Hawks? I love the color of the Hawk in Matt's picture, it looks great!

Sure, EVERY year has different Colors. It's one of the few things they could change at no cost!Originally posted by Milaca View PostDid the '58 Golden Hawks offer different color choices than the '57 Golden Hawks? I love the color of the Hawk in Matt's picture, it looks great!
A very few times they re-named a Color and reused it or only slightly tinted it.
It does happen, like for instance the Ermine White.

The wings on the parking lights (in Matts pic) are on upside down, they are supposed to sweep upwards.Bez Auto Alchemy

The pic was taken when the owner first purchased it. There were a lot of little things like that; all of which have been corrected. BTW, the color is Park Green. Supposedly less than 10 '58 Golden Hawks were painted this combo.Originally posted by bezhawk View PostThe wings on the parking lights (in Matts pic) are on upside down, they are supposed to sweep upwards.
This car, his '55 T-Bird, and '57 Jaguar XK140 are for sale. Two of those three will go; he'll keep whichever one doesn't.Last edited by mbstude; 03-06-2011, 07:37 PM.

I belive that a 1957 is worth more than a 1958, all other things being equal. In most cases, the first of a series is worth more even though the second may have lower production, like 1966-1967 Chargers. My own 1957 was also power windows and power seat.Gary L.

This picture is no argument for 1958 models. The car appears as a 1957 in the picture with its 15 inch wheels and incorrect, for either 1957 or 1958, wheelcovers.Originally posted by mbstude View Post'58, hands down.
