Excellent, Bob. That photo is a pre-Christmas treat, indeed.

I have never had the pleasure or opportunity to meet either one, but their contributions to our mark have me filled with awe & respect for them both. Its good to see Dale looking so fine after his health scare this year and Ted following the end of the Chicken Hawk. Standing ovation to them both!!!59 Lark wagon, now V-8, H.D. auto!

Its good to get a picture while I still have some hair. It is coming out in bunches.
That is obviously why caps/hats were invented.
I can't get used to wearing one while I eat as neither my parents or the Navy allowed the practice.
It does keep the hair under control until later rather than in the food. I just couldn't bring myself to wear a cover while everyone else had more class.
All I drank was ginger ale
Bob and Cari are great hosts and I was very surprised that BP had equipped himself with the digital camera weaponry.
Good job, Bob.sigpic

You know... I just don't even want to know what ginger ale has to do with the Ecumenical movement, LOL!Originally posted by BobPalma View Post...and to show you how ecumenical we are, it was genuine Canada Dry Ginger Ale.

Well, here's another prayer where the answer was yes! Good to see you Dale!
Ted looks great as well. In fact... there's a fellow at Church who looks a lot like him. Hey Ted, you have any cousins with the last name of Zell? If not, your doppelganger attends Church in Redding CA.

Well, Ron; the first definition of ecumenical (small "e") in The American College Dictionary is simply, "general, universal," with no religious overtones. The implication was that we were not sourcing the entire evening's beverages from United States businesses! <GGG> (Just being funny, of course; Canada Dry Ginger Ale is likely made and bottled in the U.S. under some license agreement...) Yep...and "catholic" (when used with lower-case Cs at both ends) means much the same thing. I remember an article on my dad's cousin's wildlife sanctuary that referred to the operation as "unusual in that she is catholic in the types of animal she cares for". I think she was actually Anglican...
What a great pic and what a great bit of news. Have met neither Ted nor Dale but hope to meet both sometime!

Ron Smith said it best I think ...
"Well, here's another prayer where the answer was yes! Good to see you Dale! Ted looks great as well."
To borrow a line from an old hymn, "His Eye is on the Sparrow" and in this case, on the Lark and the Hawk as well.
Have a Merry Christmas, everyone.
