I want to paint the master cyl on the car and not worry about fluid dribbling down the sides and melting the paint:-( I never intend to utilize DOT5.....Originally posted by StudeRich View PostReally high quality Epoxy Paint MIGHT work, best bet is to just use DOT 5, and not worry about it!

Maybe Imron would be best,I'm thinking it's a poly urethane.or how would it be if you had it powder coated"though i guess you'd have to remove it from the car"Originally posted by Felix Benet View PostI want to paint the master cyl on the car and not worry about fluid dribbling down the sides and melting the paint:-( I never intend to utilize DOT5.....Joseph R. We use Dot 5.1. It is a polymer glycol base and does not affect paint.
DOT 5.1 NON-SILICONE BASE suitable for up-grade from DOT 3 or DOT 4.
Fully compatible and miscible with Conventional Brake Fluids.Live your dreams!
