Not that I am aware. It is possible that there might be one in The Studebaker News (dealer publication) but I do not believe I have an 8x10. Are you aware that you can get a copy of the dealer franchise record from the Studebaker National Museum?

Nice collection Mr. Quinn!! I notice 2 different Yakima dealers, neither one being Cahoon motors, who was the dealer thru the '50s. Ross Lynch until recently was the GM/Olds dealer; I believe they got the Stude franchise around 1960. Yakima Valley motors is a new one to me- I'll have to research further.

The Yakima Valley Motors envelopes I have (3) are from 1939 and 1941.

            Washington state dealers…more

Some weeks ago someone posted a request for info on Washington state dealers. Those included on this sheet (above) are taken from the return address on original envelopes sent to the Studebaker factory, one of my many collectibles! Anyone else collect these? I have a few hundred with different dealers.
Mr. Quinn - I'd be interested in knowing if you have any of the Wenatchee Produce Company? They were in the business of selling Studebakers from the early 20's to the early 40's - and was my Great-Great Grandfather's company.

            thanks,

            Robert

Re the Wenatchee Produce Co., I have a photo of the business but no envelopes or other info that I am aware.

I don't have much on dealerships, but I do also have some envelopes. I have two NOS ones with a return address to the Administration building that Bob Palma gave me, (Thanks BP!) and one with a return address to the Aviation plant on Chippewa.

                Mr. Quinn,
Do you have any from Newman & Altman or Freeman & Spicer?

                    Paddock Motors

I think that was at Colby and Hewitt AVe, a corner building with huge 12 foot glass windows. I do believe it is still there.

I can picture if full of 51 bullet noses and some trucks in a row. The property was kind of small. A larger Stude place was found down the road a few years later.........

Indeed. Keep in mind that these are envelopes with return address that I have copied for my file purposes. The date the letters were mailed is shown. Note that before Freeman-Spicer it was Scherman-Schaus-Freeman and before that (back to c1917) just Scherman-Schaus.

Could you post some of Paddock Motors, for use in a diorama, or send them in a private message?

Madren Brothers in Spokane later moved to a new location away from Downtown. The new building, on north Market street, still stands as a beauty college. I'm sure many of you saw it when you were int own for the big meet in 2006.
