I thought it was a terrific article. I appreciated all the praise heaped upon George and his beautiful Lark.
      Nice going!

Was this an actual printed magazine article or web-only?

Very much a print magazine, Jack. I had several copies for many years, but am now down to just three I'd like to keep, or I'd sell you one.

Muscle Car Review is again being published regularly, so you might contact them about getting a back issue. The subject issue has a cover date of May, 1999. BP

            Thanks, Bob,

After reading it, I realized there was nothing about the PSMCDR history, times and speeds or the recent rebuild. Thus I knew it couldn't be current,so it started to seem as if we'd seen it before, like eleven years ago. What confused me was it being posted here again as if it were a recent article.

Sorry about any confusion, I'm new to Studes and stumbled on it, was the first time I had seen it. Eleven years ago I was knee deep in Mopars.

Eleven years ago, Paul, I had already owned my Vitamin-C 1971 Barracuda Convertible 23 years.

'Still own it and it is still a nice, mostly-original car. 'Come this December [2010], I will have owned it 34 years!

'Welcome to the Studebaker hobby. If you have a 1964 Challenger 2-door, whether a six or V-8, there's about a dozen guys who would like to buy it and clone it to an R-engine car. Seriously. BP

                  Bob,
I had a B-5 Blue 440 powered 1970 Charger back then. Thanks for the Welcome, that's it above in my signature, all original paint, 57,000 on the odometer, the six is long gone, rest of the body parts are in the car, working on a V-8 conversion-I have the same intent as the guys you mention.
