  • Engines in Indy Stude Mechanic Harry Weber's Garage

Harry Weber was one of perhaps the two most qualified Studebaker-trained mechanics in Indianapolis. I was talking with his son Tom, who told me there are still four engines in his father's garage. He wants to sell them. I know he wants to get rid of them. He said one is a 289, the others are ohv sixes. They're all used. Harry retired in the early '90's and passed away about twelve years ago, so they've been setting inside the garage on concrete for a long time.

The sixes have no heads; the eight does. Tom doesn't know their conditions. If you want to contact Tom, send me a message and I'll reply with his number. Thanks. Dan

I'll bump this back to page 1 just in case someone is looking for engines and didn't see this. Dan
