Personally, I've always been partial to the beautiful Robin's Egg Blue that Studebaker used for many years. They made small changes in it from time to time, still the shade remained the same. In '63 they called it Blue Mist Metallic (like Leonard's beautiful car). I've found most Champ pickups seem to have been painted either this colour or white.

To find the original colour of your car, look under the glove box. Usually there is a paper sticker under there that lists these details. It generally looks a lot like this:

Good luck with your car. I'm sure it will be beautiful no matter which colour you choose.

Thanks for the replies and the links to the colour charts, it's always a challenge when choosing a colour!

Also, were two tone paint schemes prevalent on 63 Larks?

No. Two tone paint was not an option after 1958.

In my opinion, black looks the best on the 1963 Cruiser limousette. I really don't like Rose Mist. I had a 1963 Cruiser in Rose Mist. It was an excellent car, but I sold it with about 23K miles on it because of the color. My father in law bought a new 1963 Cruiser in white with a blue interior. My wife liked it, but I didn't think it did anything for that car. Different cars look good in different colors. I am partial to dark colors, as long as they are kept clean.
