one more, here is a pic of the engine rebuild on my 60 lark convert. I know it's not correct color-wise, but I like it this way.

Mr. & Mrs. Skinny! The lovely Mrs. Skinny is displaying this 1963 GT Hawk which some clown drove through the cattle pasture yesterday and bottomed out on a large rock. Oops!

I had a good time visiting with the Studebaker folks here and I finally met the Studebaker forum guru himself, Bob Shaw! I ask all of you to encourage Bob to get the engine and tranny back in his beloved Hawk so that he can drive & show it again.

Anyone know the story on the salmon colored Lark? I have never seen that car.....yet one of my favorite colors. Thanks for posting the pics.
Sorry but I was not able to make it. Making every attempt this year to make the Jordan show with one of my 58 Packards. Take care and sorry I missed it, looks like a great turnout.

After the initial shock wore off, we all started laughing so hard there wasn't time to cuss! Just let it be known that it was the "owner/clown" that decided to take the "short cut" back to his house. When he kindly offered and let me take over the controls, I stayed on designated roads!

All kidding aside, Kristi and I had a great time visiting with Brent, checking out his projects and walking around his own personal nature preserve. The show in Hugo had hundreds of cars to look at with a large display of Studes. I met a few forum members, got to hear the Salt to Salt 182" V8 fire up and had a great time. Thanks to everyone!

Skinny, being in Watertown, do you ever go to the Dozinky Days in New Prague. Huge turnout of cars. Usually around 400, Or the Jordan car show? Both are in September.

The 1959 Lark belongs to Jim Gieselman and I think it's for sale. Jim is the upholsterer that installed the seat covers in my Hawk and he upholstered the center armrest too and did a great job. He is listed on the local club roster if you are interested.

If I recall correctly, he was asking $7500 for it last summer.

It had a for sale sign in it! I can't remember who the owner was, however, maybe someone else can enlighten us.

Haven't made it to those yet. The Kampeska Kampout in town here is the week after Labor Day and I'm about car showed out by the time that's over. I'm usually up for a road trip though!
