'Went to The Indiana State Fair Monday, August 9. Wife and I always take in the Home & Family Arts Building and look at the antiques entered for judging. Picture-taking is not allowed and the tag with the consignor's name is folded up and stapled so visitors cannot see who owns a given antique being displayed, for obvious and appropriate security reasons.
Getting Honorable Mention in the Advertising Specialties Division was a Studebaker Automobile promotional item I had never seen, a small Johnson & Johnson, glove-compartment-size, First Aid Kit in a white plastic box with a hinged cover.
Printed on the First Aid Kit cover was the later block Studebaker logo and advertising copy for Studebaker automobile radios..."High Fidelity, Instant-On Transistor-Powered, AM and AM-FM." The first-aid kit box was white plastic; the advertising printing was done in two colors; red and blue.
Obviously, this was a 1964-1966 item, since it references AM-FM Studebaker automobile radios.
Dick Quinn alert: Do you have one? (Or perhaps I should say, "how many do you have?") <GGG> BP
