Ace Pierson was the dealer in Bremerton WA in the late 40s and Pop Warren also had a dealership in Bremerton from the 20s to 1937 or 38. I am not old enough to remember this but I have a friend who (just this week) told me about Ace whom he knew and Pop, who he says we'll go talk to Pop's son who still lives here.

I worked in the old Ace Pierson building for many years when Peninsula Volkswagen was located there. The first time I was employed there, I had bought a beater '54 Commander 4 door from their back lot. Tried to get the title for it for months. Fresh out of the Navy, went in there one day to check on the title and ended up getting hired.Restorations by Skip Towne

Thanks for posting that photo of "Eastside Motors". I did not remember them at all when I posted my history with Moller Motors above. When Don Moller quit, I no longer had any interest in the dealership and did not go there anymore. Maybe his deal with Sumner Ford fell through? I didn't run into Don again until 1985 and he told me about his selling the property to the City of Snoqualmie to be their city garage. The last car that I bought from Don was a 76' Plymouth Feather Duster.Dean

Dealership Tours
I think it would be really neat for the local orphan car clubs to get together and set up some "Dealership Driving Tours." It would be fun to stop at some of these former locations for pics and possibly to look around in them. The Allen Motors Studebaker building sure hasn't changed much and is still a car dealership!
