Quit griping that it's on the wrong coast

I'm no JDP, so this isn't any fancy-smancy marketing proposal.

It's a car for sale. 1962 Lark, interior completely shot, body in pretty fair condition, very little rust that I could see, non-dented body, missing one taillight trim, engine hasn't run since "maybe 82", automatic transmission, 259 V8.

Did that have air conditioning at one time, Bob? The water pump manifold and heater hose routing appears to be set up for A/C. BP

I'll also gripe being that it actually is on the wrong coast....it's on the south coast! If it were near the north coast (south edge of Lake Superior) I might be interested.

You're probably right Bob. My '62 Cruiser with A/C has the heater hose routed to that side of the water manifold also.

Bob, I never thought of checking for AC, so have no idea. If it is important to you, I can find out.

Milaca, although we do have a wonderful coast along our great state, it is still about 700 miles away from here. (Need I say how big Texas is?)

So....18 miles SOUTH of Lubbock might put it in New Home. Is that where it's at? I have one Cousin 18 miles south of Lubbock and another 18 miles north - cotton farmers. Last time I was in New Home (4-5 years ago) I notice there were 20-25 old cars parked in an open field behind the mill. I'll have to get my cousin to take some pictures so I can post here.

Bob - my cousin, Ron Morris, lives in Abernathy. My 18 year old son is planning a road trip to Lubbock this summer - I'm teasing him "of all the vacation destinations - Lubbock!" However, great place to buy an old car. I suspect the weather keeps them as well preserved as the California weather.
