I almost went to the show, Eyes on Design. 20 bucks a ticket, and since I'm still am looking for a job, the brain said go to Baker's that is free and 5 miles from home. I left the Cadillac at home and took the Commander and was the only Studebaker there. I had several interesting comments.

Today I dropped the fuel tank on the Commander, what a mess inside. Sender was frozen, but I freed it up with some contact cleaner and hooked it up out of the tank. The gage did respond and started working with it. I will re-install it after a cleaning and hope for the best, on a budget for now. Tank was in good shape other than the crud inside.
New rubber hoses, filters and hopefully, the thing will not die for lack of fuel in a few days.

I went to that show back in 95 when Studebaker was the featured marque, very cool show and a beautiful place. When I was getting close I wasn't sure just where the place was, but then I saw a Model T cross the road in front of me and in a parking area on the right saw a 55 Stude parked next to a Viper and I knew I had to be in the right place.
