  • Standard Transmission Parts

I am sure most people here already know where to find parts for these old transmissions. I, however, did not. I am posting this in hopes of helping other new guys find their parts a little easier.

I found a lead in an old post that lead me to www.aagears.com. They are in Los Angeles and had all the parts I needed. I spoke with George and he was great to work with. Even sent me a picture of the parts before I bought them so I could feel fairly certian the parts were in good shape and were correct for my transmission. He didn't have new parts they were all used but they were in great shape. And the stuff I bought was less than half the price of the used parts offered by SI.

Hope this helps someone out in the future.

I thought that AA Gear was gone for good. They closed their doors at least 10 years ago. I used to buy most of my standard transmission parts from them as they are local to me and I could pick up needed parts immediately. If the same people are running the shop, they will give you excellent service. Bud
