  • Roger Ebert and His Golden Hawk

I just stumbled on a great article by this noted film critic about his love affair with a '57 GH. The website address was far too long to include, so try RogerEbert.com if you want to look for it. It is listed under Roger Ebert's Journal for 12/18/2008. And all this time I thought he was just another picky film critic. Now I know he also is a picky car nut.

Its good to hear something with a positive spin on it where Ebert is considered. That poor man has been through He-double-toothpicks and back with that cancer that he has. My hat is off to him. He's lost so much that we take for granted, but he keeps going at it and doing what he does best.

It's been posted before, and IMO it's a GREAT piece of writing (even if it wasn't about a Studebaker).

Great article! Lots of memories for a former Mid-Westerner (and former owner of a Packard Hawk).
