what is going on with those headers on that truck?

    Randy Wakefield
    1955 President

First of all, Randy...were you actually the President in 1955? [)]

The passenger side is a standard block hugger. The drivers side is a custom made one to clear the stock steering box ONLY...certainly not for performance. It dumps into the that side's exhaust pipe at the front of the engine. I didn't put the Chevy in this truck, but it is essentially a very neat and clean job...no cutting. If I had done it, I'd probably use the 265 manifolds like Ms Rotten is going to do OR use some later Chev log manifolds with essentially the same shape as the 265's but with bigger ports (Chevy truck?). They might be able to dump at the rear, but certainly at the front.

Ahhh! Ross! They let you in here too?? Nice place ya got here -- I think we'll have some fun. Yer suggestion regardin' decoy-decals, will be taken. No obvious catalog-components -- it'll look like it coulda come that way. We've got a pair of plain-vanilla valve-covers that really aughtta say 'Passmaster' -- just cuz I like the way it sounds; "Passssssssssssssssssssmaster!" Is somebody repopin' them sticky little devils yet?

A couple of yawl was speculatin' as to the geographical where-abouts of Gopher Grove. Well; Gopher Grove is located in the northern section of San Diego County -- AKA North Mexico. It's just what we like to call our home -- an old orange grove with a serious gopher problem, and the North High that I attended was/is in Riverside, CA.

Thanks for the help yawl. I went back and fixed a couple typos. I feel much better, but I still haven't found that 'spell-czech' button.

Oh, one more question: MR (Mrs. Rotten) is gittin' suspicious. Is it okay if chicks hang out here too?

Faster than a rusting bullet... Gopher Grove, CA

Sure. Why we've been known to even let the occasional young person in

Hey, on you spell check thing...no spell check built into the web software, but if you switch to the Mozilla Firefox browser it will spell check ANYTHING you type on the net.
