  • 1966 Wagonaire in Australia

    Hi,

I have come across a 1966 Wagonaire in Australia and was wondering if anyone can help me source some information on them. I have found that 940 were ever made, but can't find how many came to Australia or any other specific information.

    Any information is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you all in advance.

Have you tried the Studebaker Car Club of Australia Inc http://www.studebakercarclub.net/
Click on "Nostalgia" and Studebaker in Australia for more information, the article says we never got any true '66's here so this must have been either a '65 or a later import. If you have the VIN number some of the list members may be able to assist you further, also if you provide the VIN and Engine numbers to the Studebaker National Museum in South Bend Indiana, they can provide you with the build sheet so you'll know how it came off the line, color, upholstery, engine, accessories etc, http://www.studebakermuseum.org/.

All the best with your Wagonaire, there are several of us Aussies onlist i'm in Adelaide, no car but am learning much from the list
