2 years ago I had a Lincoln shipped to me (NY) from Miami; cost $650...

I'll help get it to a shipper; if you want my car, look into shipping a little... I'll pay part of the cost...

Shipping prices have gone up with fuel prices, but shop around. Within the past couple of months I've had Studebakers shipped to NY from CO and TX. Each trip cost $800. Both of these were complete and running cars. Non-runners always cost extra. Certainly big of Robert to offer to pay part of the cost. Being in the business, he can probably put the load out on the networks without going through a broker. That should save about $150-$200.

My deal of the year was having my 1948 M-16 grain truck and my buggy shipped from Wichita, KS to Staunton, VA in an enclosed trailer for $450. Makes getting those rust free midwest vehicles all the easier.
