I have one inside the shop, with the vinyl letters. It's OK. I have a painted one from Studebaker International. It's been on the outside of the building for 2 years-still looks like new.
I'd suggest you get a S.I.catalogue [if you don't have one]their signs are not any more expensive than this one,and if you order once a year, you get a free catalogue every year.
Some signs are also available from SASCO,and the Studebaker Nat. Museum.

If you want to have a sign that will last go for a porceline enameled sign, it will hold up outdoors or indoors and look new for years as long as it is not chipped.

Every year around the Holidays SASCO puts ads in TW's and he has signs that contain the PROPER ARTWORK.
If you contact Rick Courtier, he can print you a sign either to hang or on magnetic material. I am not sure how large he can make it, but I have a magnetic one that is large.
The SASCO sign is 24 inches across, and has the correct artwork.
Don't buy anything the has the word Authorized scrunched at the top and an elongated S and tudebaker that looks like pulled taffy as it is totally wrong.
If you have any questions about correct art, I will be happy to help, so will JP and Dick Quinn.
